CADplanners reporting - dynamic data

Dynamic Reporting

Another great feature about CADplanners Visio floor plans is Dynamic properties. For example, once you have created your floor plan, by a simple click of button, you can quickly generate an Inventory, Equipment, Cost or Supplier reports just to name a few..
To extend this even further, you may wish to calculate the cost for hiring or buying some of the items on the plan. This report will calculate and total this for you, along with the name of the supplier so your costs can be calculated at any point!

To display a report on the plan, all that is required is to simply ‘drag and drop’ it from the stencil (where your smart shapes are dragged from). If you have added or removed items on the plan after the report has been created, you simply right click the report and “Update Report”.The report will then re-run and update based on the changes you made on the plan...and this only takes seconds! You can even export the results to an Excel Spreadsheet.

Another great feature of these Dynamic Reports is all data remains within the plan, there are no external databases used. This is achieved by using a shape’s ‘Shape Data’ or ’Custom Properties’.
